India Budget : Textile commodity prices may go down

Indian Government considering a slash on customs duty of petrochemical raw materials in the coming budget,If it happens then prices of a large number daily use commodities like textiles, soaps and detergents, fashion accessories, cosmetics and others may come down.

In its pre-budget session the ministry has recommended to remove five percent basic Customs duty on ethylene, propylene.

This will benefit large users like Reliance Industries, India Glycols and BASF Styrenics, among others.
